@thatonecalculator @chjara @emilis you should separate things you have written from the things you took from others, in my opinion, and make that properly visible of who wrote what, especially if you're pushing for getting donations.also, maybe specify what those refactors from foundkey mean, considering you don't mention the PRs they're related to.

@helene@p.helene.moe @chjara@mk.disqordia.space @emilis@puff.place Everything from Foundkey is separated (everything highlighted has link-back credit), and I'm just using their commit names. All the refactors clearly state "refactored x to composition API", meaning, well... they've been brought over to the composition API.

@thatonecalculator @chjara @emilis well, what I mean is that, if I were to do it, I would've separated my project's changes from the changes taken from other projectsyour changes seem to be mostly related to theming (why not); and other minor frontend changes (setting stars as default), from what I'm seeing so far, some of which seem to be neat QoL changes, and then the recommend instances TLi would personally feel bad to receive money for something people think i've wrote myself, and not having been clear enough about it, but how you handle it is up to you

@helene@p.helene.moe @chjara@mk.disqordia.space @emilis@puff.place I must respectfully disagree. It's not just cosmetic changes and the RTL, but I also implemented the MOTD, splash icons, refactoring the guest screen, improvements to notifications and the notification widget, behavioral changes to chat, security problems that allowed non-mods to view mod information, autocomplete in messaging, more settings (ads optional, updates optional), and more bug fixes. Furthermore, the fork is still in early stages.

@thatonecalculator @chjara @emilis >security problems that allowed non-mods to view mod informationthe only thing I see mentioned about it is this:>Raw instance info only for moderatorswhat's confidential about this? (see screenshot from misskey.io attached, and https://misskey.io/instance-info/p.helene.moe) :thinking_cirno: am i missing something?behavioural changes to chat i've seen seem to be uncommenting unused misskey code for autocompleting, maybe i'm missing something too?and to me those are both cosmetic and QoL, unless i'm really missing something, again, and i see nothing wrong with that, it's fine work. though i'd prefer not to "argue" about that because... why? how would some work better than other work?as i said, my personal concern in maintaining a fork of software that i haven't made and asking for donations would be to make sure i get money only for what i'm doing, and to make that very clear to people, otherwise i'd feel like cheating them, which is why i'd be concern about how you present your project's changes. if you don't believe the same, then that's fineand i wouldn't say that foundkey, calckey, misskey or any other is better than the other, though i look very closely at foundkey for federation reasons with pleroma and they are ones i see the most in federation discussions, and i know about a lot of their design decisions (which i believe are good decisions), which is why my preference goes towards foundkey at this moment
