@cregox @captainepoch Its on my Pinephone running Arch Linux ARM + sxmo. I have a dock for the phone so I can use a wireless keyboard and mouse. It is only useful for org sheets and reading documents, but there is an hdmi port on the dock and I can connect it to my portable LCD monitor. Qutebrowser is my default web browser too. I have most other Arch Linux programs that can handle the mobile screen size, including clementine and quickmedia.

@cregox @captainepoch The point is being from Google, Apple spyware. Even if the performance is less. Plus they make a pocket keyboard if your hands are small enough lol,This is just my setup for all my arm boards, you asked if I could hook the phone into it.But the phone is just a Mobile Linux computer that can make calls and texts.

@cregox @nerdtronics You'd be wrong. Pocket computer is what nerdtronic has, you have a mobile phone with some apps to make it usable for your usecase, but that's that.

@nerdtronics @captainepoch i don't care for prototypes and pioneering this year.i just want a phone like vollax, could use ubuntu touch, nixos, or even volla os, with emacs thought for #pocketonlycomputer - no other gadget required.full mobile. simple.i tried everything else you've mentioned and some more, hardware wise. it doesn't work for my lifestyle.not only that, i am mostly glad with my current setup. just looking to improve it, and migrating to mobile emacs will surely be fun to try.

@cregox @captainepoch Most people are so spoiled by the luxuries of the modern smart phone that it would be too hard to make the sacrifices for the sake of free software, device freedom, right to repair, privacy and nerdy coolness. So for those I would recommend getting a Samsung or Google Pixel device and using PostmarketOS or LineageOS.
