Accidentally pressed the power key, decided to try gnome.Works okay but I can't see any customization out of the box, something even win/mac have.The built in browser can't put images in so here's a shot from phone.

@MischievousTomato @colinsmatt11 It can play MP3s from some albums though.It only added 3 disks out of 9 from the same same folder?The problem is that I can't add anything to gnome music, it can only play what it found.

@iska I'm pretty sure public domain only refers to copyright (I've read the original patent length ruling and it doesn't say public domain), but I guess those lawyers are excellent at twisting the meaning of everything.The software patents on mp3 have now expired, so you can use it in freedom with free software, but a lot of mp3 players are still proprietary software under copyright.Still, mp3 is a terrible format, so you should use opus instead.

@colinsmatt11 @MischievousTomato @iska They still considered themselves in an official relationship with GNU a couple of years back, when GNOME 3 had already been out for a while. They only renounced it recently (apparently due to lack of influence on the GNU project).
