For the FA sewing folks.I decided since I live in the hometown of icon James Dean, to develop a product that I could manufacture from the comfort of my home, to market to the numerous people who journey here to take in the history of “Jimmy’s” life. I thought if I could do all that upholstery stuff, piping, cushions, ect, I could certainly make a damn hat. Jimmy wore this hat to the races a couple times just prior to his untimely and tragic death. It’s the most comfortable hat I’ve ever worn.

@MegasAlexandros Crazy skilled son of gun from what I've seen on posts here.If you can do couch cushions upholstery with all the fancy rim beading and center button pull downs (I speak as a grease monkey so my terms may be out of bounds of the accepted lexicon in the profession) you can pretty much do anything.Imagination is the only limitation.I got a few projects I need to get done.I'll get my specs sorted and DM you.If you paint or sketch I have more projects for you.👍

@JackO My partner is your man for your needs. He’s skilled & highly imaginative. He currently designs the yearly new edition t-shirts for James Dean Festivals in Sept. as well as graphic art for miscellaneous other projects. He’s quiet & humble so he doesn’t promote himself properly. Keep him in mind for personal attention to any projects you have. His cookbook he wrote designed & published in 2015 of James Dean’s family, friends and business associates recipes and personal stories.

@MegasAlexandros Awesome!I'll chat with you more in DM on what I got on deck. Does he do painting on canvas or sketching? The majority of the image work involves family physical photos that I have been scanning into digital archives before all is lost.As I do this scanning I have great ideas of how I would like to bring together the best either in a painting or even digital product to be pro printed and framed.I have no skills on the digital artifact front thus I need help.

@MegasAlexandros This is stylin'!!One of my neighbors and his partner are swimsuit designers. During the pandemic they gathered some scraps of the fabric they use for prototypes and made masks for themselves. I commented on how cool they were one day when we rode down on the elevator. He asked me what "characters" my kids were into. Two days later I had a bag on my doorknob with masks for all of us. Mine was paisley, hubs had guitars and the kids had their favorite super heros.❤️

@hejoural 👍😂Like a friend here. He makes vintage style mens shirts… so he had a ton of vintage fabrics. When Covid and the lock downs happened… no customers were coming through town so he decided to make and sell masks on his Ebay. He made and sold more than 700 of those suckers. Everything on them you can think of. It helps to move with the flow.
