       Privacy is not only about companies not being able to track and data mine your daily life.Privacy is also about being able to do all the embarrassing stuff you want to do without your social environment knowing that you are roleplaying a "nya nya uwu catgirl" online in your spare time.

       I think a lot of "normies" who are like "why would I want privacy? I have nothing to hide" are missing this point. After all everyone is using a mask in their daily lives to give the appearance of living a "normie" life when in reality everyone has their "secrets".

       @enigmatico i was like this in my teens. i thought i wanted everyone i know to add me as a friend and see my short stories and pics of my cat and i thought everyone was like thatthis approach caused lots of trouble for me so now i try to remain as anonymous as possible

       @sugarbell It would be nicer if people would stop pretending and being such "fakers" and "posers", and also accepted others even if they act or think differently from the "norm".Unfortunately that'll never happen.
