@dch Here in Iceland we officially said good bye to a glacier couple of years back, and we see others receding at alarming rates. I think most of Icelanders know things are going to hell although we can't really fathom the idea. We are apathetic to it.

@esi @dch I wouldn't say Icelanders are apathetic to the looming climate catastrophe, it's just that Iceland has already done so much: energy from hydro and geothermal, serious conservation efforts, pushing for EVs (what was it, 75% of new cars in Iceland these days are EVs?) and so on.There's not much more a country like Iceland can do, frankly…

@rysiek @dch Yet, if i am not mistaken, we have one of the biggest carbon footprint per capita in the world. :/
