       @Fullycaffeinated well everything is more expensive now, up to 2-3 times. goddamn z banners everywhere. my life hasn't changed much, but a lot of my acquaintances were arrested or even imprisoned. i feel demoralised and i think a lot of us feel the same. many has left the country

       @plasmometer Yeah, they really didn't think things through when they made themselves energy dependent on Russia. The impacts of that are already being felt in Europe, but not on the governments, on the citizens.

       @plasmometer @Fullycaffeinated Damn, that sounds tough. I have roots/connections to eastern Europe and see the whole thing from the other side of the border, but I’ve been thinking about how ordinary Russians who aren’t buying into the Make Russia Strong Again hype are doing. I have a close friend who’s a Russian expatriate in one of the countries bordering on Russia. She seems to be grappling with this situation as well. Hope things get better for you and your, and I sincerely hope you don’t have to wait a lifetime for that to happen…
