whoa http://i.reddit.com not only still exists and works, despite the quirks it seems to be a way nicer browsing experience than the "new" mobile site, and it doesn't try and force you to download a damn app!maybe a good option for #linuxmobile users?

this makes me long for a period of the internet I wasn't around for (which probably didn't even exist) where websites just... gave you content, didn't give you 1 or 2 or 5 popups, or show you adverts. damn it's refreshing...

@calebccff it's designed as a pivacy preserving frontend for reddit, so no login 4 u :DI recommend the privacyredirect extension for browsers if you'd like to have that for other sites too (insta, twitter, etc)

@calebccff, I use i.reddit.com on mobile, but it can’t handle media. old.reddit.com does, but it doesn’t look good on narrow screen. reddit.com has horrible UX and is really sluggish. Libreddit and Teddit are great for readonly purposes. TUI clients like rtv with Sxmo gestures should be great in theory but I’m not aware of any actively maintained one. There are also native graphical apps like Giara but I haven’t used any recently.
