And the ability to control yourself and resist degenerate urges is what separates us from animals. As for the criminality of degeneracy, I think that's on some scale. Drinking to the point of being drunk is a mild degeneracy that's perfectly legal. Using hookers, doing drugs is a degeneracy that's legal in some places but not others. Same with gambling. Stealing and rape are illegal degeneracy. Homo should probably by illegal, but I could see it being like gambling and prostitution, legal in some states but not others.
