       I live in St. Louis. Just started seeing articles on how I’ve been a victim of climate change the past two days.In my 33 years of living here, we’ve never had anything short of batshit crazy weather. Insane is our normal, I promise you.

       @SirTenCyprids Be glad you didn't get Tropical Storm Allisonhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_Storm_AllisonOver 20 years ago now, it dumped about 3 feet of rain in the Houston area. I didn't have problems where I lived but a lot of people did.

       @SirTenCyprids Were you there when Hurricane Andrew dumped golf ball-sized hail on the region in June? Summers are terrible and the winters and also terrible. Sometimes I miss the Lou, but not when I’m outside.

       @Greycoop Honestly don’t recall that one, but roofs get replaced every 3 years, it seems.Was comfy in shorts one January when I was a kid, we’ve had tornadoes hit the airport, & I remember one spring getting dumped by about 8 in of snow, just to touch around 70 and melt it off the next day.You are pretty much either freezing your butt off or melting your balls off from one day to the next and nature will angrily provide or withhold precipitation as it feels. Aggressively weird is our normal.

       @SirTenCyprids Yep, that’s how I remember it.
