@unl0ckd The grass is always browner on this side.Also, problems in an overall good platform seem much larger and quantifiable than problems on absolute garbage fires like facebook and birdside.Then again, I haven't gotten deep enough into the #fediverse to speak with any definite authority on problems it may have.

@unl0ckd it razzes the stallmanites in the title, and therefore I enjoy this literature.It mocks Creative Commons, which I think is a real dumb piece of licensing by default. I own my shit. Nobody else unless I say so.It ain’t wrong, to boot in terms of technicality either. Solid points.I have stayed active here in Fosstodon, for example, because it’s a solid community. Not because it’s actually decentralized or otherwise resilient against problems that plague mainstream platforms.

@unl0ckd I think most of the points in there are correct.As a fosstodon user, I don't really think of myself as a *mastodon* (let alone fediverse) user: I primarily interact with the local community, enjoy the moderation it provides, and on occasion meet / interact with people from other instances.I agree with every point it makes about Mastodon's design, and have raised them myself on other occasions.I think fedi is the least-bad option right now, but we need to make something better.
