       Around 2 months ago I tried to make the argument that a 19yo is capable of making conscious decisions (like dating an older person, as I did willingly and without coercion at that age) and that really upset a lot of people. I'm not sorry. I don't date that young (still got pedojacketed) because that age group is not appealing to me, but I'm SO grateful for the guidance I had from elder gays at that stage in my development. ❤

       Relationships aren't always sexual, older partners aren't always predatory. Whether or not someone is "fully developed" they're going to require guidance, especially if they're queer. By making older people afraid to interact with the youth (pedojacketing) we're only isolating those youths. Making easier targets for the actual predators who don't feel shame or remorse.
