Before telling me anything about computers or programming, be really careful as I'll immediately start infodumping and probably won't shut up about it until I fall asleep on my keyboard.I don't make the rules. 🤷🏻(Same with Pokemon and my other special interest too btw)

Good morning everyone! 🌈Hope you've had a good night or today, depending on where you live!Daily tech info to start your day with: It took less coding to send a man on the moon than to run a smartphone! In fact, Nasa still operates some projects on programming from the 70's and 80's!They decided to stick to older languages which are safe, reliable and so didn't need to invest. They use HAL/S developed in 1973 and, for newer projects, ADA which was developed in 1980.Enjoy your day! 😇

@forever Oh that's great!! I'm very interesting in Lua, how does it feel compared to Python? I started with HTML5 around 8 years ago but didn't have time and the passion I have for computers now, so I'm starting over with Python, then I'll get back back to HTML again plus learn CSS3 to move to JavaScript! And then: Lua!!

@testoceratops Here's a fun space and programming related factoid: The USSR got a university to develop a programming environment and operating system for their Buran shuttle project. They called it PROLOGUE.The spooks from the US thought they were referring to Prolog, and got briefly angery at the French for sharing it with them.
