The EU is turning to trustworthy energy suppliers. Azerbaijan is one of them.With this week's 🇪🇺🇦🇿 agreement, we commit to expanding the Southern Gas Corridor, to double gas supplies from Azerbaijan to the EU.This will contribute to the EU's security of energy supplies.

Whoever wrote the post should be fired or something. Yes, risk diversification with strategic resources is great (should have been done 8 years ago), thanks for that.But don't use the word "trustworthy" .. i would not call even some EU members "trustworthy"

@EU_CommissionAzerbaijan trustworthy??? 😂How much was Europe bribed by that all mighty dictator from there?Concerning energy I think we need some realism: Do we want to be dependent on countries like Azerbaijan? No! Do we have a choice? Short term: no as well 😭 But: Let's not give them a monopoly! And let's within the next 10 years become fully energy independent thanks to renewables!

@EU_Commission this is so disappointing. So much damage to Europe and the world due to climate change and the response to the current energy crisis from thw European Union is to switch gas suppliers. I expected better.
