@Jaime my got COVID a few days ago. His doc gave him steroids (you’re old & you smoke) & a Z pack. His only symptoms were fever & tired. After 24 hours & first doses of meds he was fine. & those drugs didn’t cost $$$$$

@Jaime @EarlThePearls Paxlovid, in my opinion, is not it meaning they need something better that doesn't force someone to quit all their existing medication (heart meds, etc.) for some say ten days. That's a long time to disrupt everything. Even five days is not good.

@EarlThePearls @Jaime @Sternrage Thanks Earl for FYI. Lots of people dont know this. Hes not a diabetic. When’ i was still working in a clinic that gave steroid injections for hand pain we had to ask if they were diabetic, if yes don’t get your A1C drawn for awhile

@GmajvA1C was the least of his worriesSon got a steroid injection for back pain and his blood sugar wouldn't go lower than 350 for close to two weeks. And this with copious amounts of extra insulin and close monitoringHe is normally well controlled@Jaime @Sternrage
