@neglesaks @ic3l9 @kirjis *should* be possible.We know it's possible on far humbler hardware!IMHO, it took macOS decades to catch up to many of the features of the Amiga, but still misses so many and requires so much more hardware and software to do it (in the 1980s NeXT was an abomination). Windows, Linux, etc. are even further behind.As one of the Amiga designers stated it in the Viva Amiga documentary: "We were from the future"Clearly, from a better timeline too.

@randynose @claudiom tbh, Microsofts product offerings have become a lot better the last decade - and I used to be a hardcore MS renouncer! Still not a "fan" of the company, but I must show respect where earned, and it is in this case(s). MS has diversified alot, even onto Android where they make some decent apps. Their Edge browser is actually decent, too. And Windows 10 has gone from fair to an actual good product. 😳 Oh, and their mice are nice, too.

@neglesaks I went for the Atari ST 1040 myself. In a few months I bought a custom 1 megabyte external hard drive for $1,000 (Canadian, mind you) to hold all the cool stuff I downloaded 300 bps from BBS (name very sadly forgotten).

@neglesaks It seems that it was in another life!!! the memories of those days are quite blurry 😔I began with an IBM PS2-30... it had only 20 Mb of hard disk storage!! you had not read bad... 20 Mb!!! 😁Monocolor screen... so, no photos, no music, no internet, no web... it really seems that it was in another life!Those PCs (1990) usually run MSDOS, and you wrote ascii text documents (Ability, wordperfect) or spreadsheets (Lotus) and games like Prince of Persia.
