@kev I have a many-years-old world on the Minecraft Realms service that I keep online at all times, cheap tier for 2 players max. It was built up over 5 years across older versions, and has several old structures built by a friend who passed away in 2020. It's been great to see it evolve over time and I look back at it now like an ancient world from a bygone era. :)Anyway, if you think you'd like to check it out with your son (or if he'd like to explore) feel free to drop me message.

@jefmes that’s so kind, thank you. I don’t think I could trust my son not to mess something with so much nostalgia up.How is the performance on Realms? I’d probably go with them if I were to setup a server.

@kev Perfectly fine! I can't even get myself to bother running my own now for it, the auto updates and backs just make the entire process maintenance free for a few bucks a month. Highly recommend for small groups/personal servers. Well part of the fun of the "Ancient World" is people messing it up so really no fear there and it's basically non-active at the moment. 🙂 If you change your mind just let me know. 👍🏻
