@BanditHeeler @thecoopsters Yes God certainly did know before He even created the universe, that the tree would fall onto that car. We do not know the exact reason He has set up this event though. Please explain how God was able to exist before time, and create time itself, but is still limited by it. Is God's creation more powerful than He is?Please explain why God knowing what will happen invalidates your free will. If you read a history book we know all of the choices that these people made, but we do not say that they do not have free will. Why is it okay for a future person such as us to know these things, but not timeless Persons such as God? The only way that free will would be invalidated is if God forced them to behave that certain way with no free choosing on their end. Just for the hypothetical scenario, let us say I go back in time a day before you made your initial poast to me. I would know before you made it that you would write such a thing. Would this mean you do not have free will, because I would know with certainty what you would do? It seems to me that you would still be freely making the choice, but I would simply know what you would do. Thank you friend.

Gladly. First, 'God's creation...' is an illogical fool copout. It is irrelevant. He either set up reality to be knowable, or He did not. Trying to conflate doesn't suffice.It obviously invalidates as the actuator and knower of said will. If it is 'free', meaning that we make real choices which hold consequence, then we make such choices. If God already knows the actuation, actuates it, and gives us 'will', which is merely a predetermined set of circumstances to which we succumb necessarily, then there is no temporal actuation occurring, but rather, existence is fully predetermined itself with no temporality whatsoever beyond the illusion we see. Is God a God of deception? (Two can play the I'm a retard who hates logic, truth, and Christ, if you want to continue down that road).You wouldn't know that (that I would necessarily do anything). That's retarded. If blind hypothetical counterfactuals are the best you can muster here, you are in a worse state theologically than I thought. That you even insinuate such a hypothetical as valid demonstrates fully just how haphazard and indefensible your position is.

But we can use some examples of prophets from the bible instead, as that is a real example. For instance look at when Jesus tells St. Peter that he will deny Him three times before the rooster crew, and that is exactly what occurred. Did St. Peter not have free will? Did Jesus force Him to sin? Of course God will not force someone to sin.Speaking more of prophecies, there are so many prophecies of Jesus' life in the Old Testament, that if even one person made a different choice, they would not have come true. What if the man did not let the apostles take the young donkey? What if the Virgin Mary had not accepted God's will? What if Joseph had not chosen to take them into Egypt and instead hid elsewhere? What if the Jews had chosen not to crucify Christ? What if Pilate had not allowed them to do so, or executed Him in a different way? There are some things with even bigger implications around the setting too, such as the Roman empire may not have formed based on the actions of some men, or maybe a different empire would have been around. There were so many things that God told us would occur that did occur exactly as described. Ironically you are trying to deny God's knowledge of the future to protect the idea of free will, but the only alternative explanation to God knowing these things in advanced would be that God forced these people to do these things, which would mean He denied them their free will. Your hypotheticals are illogical because the sum possibility of such potential would allow for it on God's actuation, there is no 'just so' necessitation that you can demonstrate (which would require the same assumption on blind hypotheticals that alternatives could not obtain). It's a cope though, it's not a counterargument. No regression to exclusion present (meaning you didn't actually present a counterargument to make your case, you deflected and didn't demonstrate the logical validity of your view). But I am speaking of the people who think that only white people can be saved.
