       God of War 4 is a pretty good game but the fact that this won game of the year over Red Dead 2 is nothing short of a criminal act of corruption.

       @lichelordgodfrey @Shadowman311 Sandbox was annoying as hell too. Their system for encountering strangers is absolute shit, they were too afraid of modern gamers becoming "bored" if they just let them be so at there's something trying to get your attention.RDR1 captured that wild west feel much better and didn't bombard you with side quests and stranger tasks at every step. And it felt less of feature creep too. Honestly who cares if your ponies bollocks shrivel in cold or alligator dies of exhaustion running from you or at you.

       @ivanterrible @lichelordgodfrey @Shadowman311 Worst part of RDR 2 was that realistic bs they pulled for every single item pickup, every single animal skinning animation . Like its cool in the beginning in a while but killing and skinning 4 wolves you spend more time (3-10 seconds per don't remember how long it is ) skinning and placing them ont he fucking horse than doing the fun shooty killy part
