@urusan Very high infant & youth mortality, survivors made it to 60-70, rarely over 80. Average lifespan made a really steep climb 19th-20th C because kids don't die as much.

@urusan i believe so.less wars, better law enforcement, lower child mortality rate due to better care for pregnant women and Penicillin could have contributed.🙂

@urusan There are many contributing factors, but iirc, most of it is simply down to clean water, and society wide regular hand-washing. Plus moving most of our factories to other countries has probably helped...
