Poorly crafted legislation written in total ignorance of the medical risks involved in childbirth will cost the lives and health of many women. In just weeks, we have entire states where women cannot depend on medical institutions to act in their best interests when their lives and futures are on the line. The dismantling of Roe v. Wade was never about babies. It was about devaluing women’s and girl's lives. If the Republicans get control of the House and Senate, they will push for a nationwide ban on abortions (they have said this - it's not hyperbole). Vote Democrats in even if they are not progressive enough/too progressive for your liking. This article is also wise to mention that we haven't yet actually tried voting in enough numbers, especially locally. Do your part to change that. The Fate of States’ Rights After Roe:It’s become clear that the anti-abortion movement won’t sit idly by while states enact the abortion policies their residents want.https://www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/archive/2022/07/republicans-expose-their-hypocrisy-on-abortion/670562/

@TonyStarkAccording to many national polls, the majority of Americans, are sympathetic to women seeking abortions if ... they are victims of rape or incest, if... they have a serious health concern, or if... the baby will be born with a disability. Although from the same polls. I've seen they are significantly less willing to approve of abortion in cases of economic hardship or personal preference. It's my opinion, when stories of women seeking unsafe and illegal abortions hit the front pages, when victims of rape or incest find themselves forced to bear children, when underfunded social services struggle to provide adequate care for newly born but uncared-for infants, all of that must and will change if we use our voice and ...#Vote #VoteForDemocrats #VoteStateandLocalElections

@ClintBartonThe last thing almost anyone who can get pregnant wants (and whoever does want others involved, go ahead) is a crew of uninvolved, uninvited, unknowledgeable people sitting around judging their choices, no matter what the reason is behind seeking an abortion. It's nobody's business as to what anyone's personal decisions are regarding their own bodies. The decision affects the pregnant person and that's it.Anyone who thinks they get to decide who to force to have a kid:

@TonyStark @ClintBarton It’s the GOP war on women, privacy and freedom. Vote them all out in 2022 so Dems can safeguard our rights.

@TonyStark @ClintBarton I saw this today.I'm happy Fetterman is our nominee from PA but I remember the years when there wasn't a single woman representing PA in Congress and it annoyed me. There are only 24 women in the Senate and this would be a great year to send some more if any state that still has its primary. Wisconsin does have Tammy Baldwin now plus Gwen Moore in the House but don't other voters get sick of their states being 8 men, 2 women? When will Congress look like America? (I look forward to even more diversity and people who identify outside the gender binary being in Congress too.)https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/07/19/wisconsin-democrats-can-support-abortion-rights-godlewski-senate-primary/
