@puniko I distrust them not for that reason, but because I live in a capitalist hellscape that believes that *copywriting* the outcomes is a good idea. Otherwise, they're cool.

@puniko gmo is a trojan horse for corporations applying intellectual property laws to food sources. I don't think gmo corn will kill your family though

@puniko yeah, many farmed foods as we know them are quite literally human creations developed over time and look very different from their wild counterparts (try finding a wild banana) we've been generically engineering our food via means like selective breeding long before we understood what genes wereand frankly if one's concerned about food, GMO is the least of your worries when it comes to the Western food industry, American food brands are so awful in so many more ways
