have you played on something like minetest or mineclone before you bought minecraft? i do think minetest with the mineclone mod is a very good minecraft replacement

@joel Well let's be honest Miencraft is owed by Microsoft but it's foundation and fame is due to Mojang Studios. It is a great game. I have had a few servers over the years.

@joel Minetest is getting better, but I don't think anyone would blame you for buying Minecraft. Of all the microsoft things you could buy, that one should get a pass.

@joel yeah, I do play multiplayer but on my own self hosted server on LAN with friends and family, i could understand if MS bans players from puplic server but on it is unacceptable if they bans players from their own server, but ofc if you play only singleplayer, it would not be a problem for you
