Downloading over 20 GB of patches on my kids machines, I guess I have to teach them how to update their linux-boxes

@WandelStock absolutely there is, but I dont want them to think that all "just works" by enabling automatic updates. They can enable that themselves in the future I think

@selea 20GB seems too much. Never had this much updates in any of my installs. Not even on Arch. Have you missed updates for months or something? Or are you talking multiple machines?

@selea Too bad there's no torrent-like function with updates like there is with Windows. Although Windows has 20GiB for just one or two freaking updates. I couldn't believe I went thru 10% of my data cap due to Windows just being on.
