@PowerOfSin Visual novels and turn based games (RPG and strategy too). Also love card based games. I love to think about stuff and those type of games the best for that.

@PowerOfSin I prefer execution-heavy games with a lot of split second decisions. Fighting games like Guilty Gear, action games like Devil May Cry, and some RPGs like the Tales of... series.

@PowerOfSin A bit of both, I enjoy RPGs that allow me a lot of roleplay opportunities, as well as building my character/party. Pillars of Eternity and Pathfinder: Kingmaker are good examples of those types of games, where you can take several paths regarding morality, character building, etc. Both of those also have isometric real time combat where you control a party, which I enjoy too.I also like action RPGs (big fan of Soulsborne games), fighting games, survival horror...

@PowerOfSin Fair enough, I 'spose, though there is overlap. Factorio is a management/action/puzzle/programming game, for example :3Then again, I'm the sort of person who sometimes jokes that it should be mandatory that every game include something that's Turing Complete in it, so I should probably be disqualified from making these decisions x3

@PowerOfSin Oh, in the bizarre fantasy land that joke reigns from, it's not a way of determining what IS a game... It'd be more like a law, where if a game developer makes a game that ISN'T Turing complete they have to endure some sort of punishment. Like, I dunno, needing to train ferrets to write syntactically correct regular expressions.

@PowerOfSin Hence it only being a joke x3If anyone ever tried to impose any sort of law that was even remotely like that in real life, I would be the first to write a long post online somewhere about that being literally pure evil. I've written such posts already about game stores not allowing porn games, and Patreon banning many types of content from NSFW games, etc., so you can BET I'd do the same in this scenario. But at the same time, ferrets typing regexes would be marvelous.

@PowerOfSin It can if it's worded with enough empathy toward both sides, and read by the right people. The trouble with letters and Internet posts, however, is that the right people are almost never going to see or read them.I think I have my talking points honed enough to make a lasting impression if I can get 5 to 10 minutes of someone's time for a short conversation, though. I've had success convincing people on Twitter of all places, so it's not like there's no hope.

@PowerOfSin My arguments are partly designed to eat at someone at night. Make them feel like a monster if they don't do the right thing.Basically, I focus on the abuse victims and the trauma they go through, and how allowing such art would help them. Too many have taken their own lives because they felt like they were the problem, or even at fault, for the trauma they endured. At any rate... Twitter still allows cub porn, somehow. I like to imagine someone got through to one Right Person™.

@PowerOfSin I think they allow cub but not loli/shota, because most countries that ban loli/shota don't explicitly ban art of underaged animal-human hybrids, just art of underaged humans. To me it looks like some clever lawyers said, "Okay, well, we can't keep operating in these countries if we allow loli/shota.. But we can at least exploit this loophole for cub porn."They, and whoever greenlit the Simpson's movie having a shota dick in it, are my heroes, and how I can still have hope.

@PowerOfSin Because yeah.. I agree with you that change is unlikely. I know about many examples (I never played Diablo of any sort and don't know much about its situation, but I'm familiar with similar things in the industry), and know that the higher-ups tend to be abusive - if not toward people physically and directly, then passively and indirectly through rules and management decisions. But I've still seen occasional glimmers of hope, and I believe that a change for the better is possible.

@PowerOfSin I hadn't heard of Amphibia, and I've now read a bit about it. Not sure I know enough to understand what you're saying.I keep meaning to see Turning Red, and haven't seen it yet. I've actually not heard about it having horny themes, but I Have been avoiding spoilers, so maybe that's why?

@PowerOfSin I like action games with a good story, like Marvel's Spider-Man, Control or Mass. I also play a lot of RPGs and shooters, like Mass Effect, and some rogue-like games.Hades, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk and Warframe are few of the fun games I've played recently. I play on a pretty broad spectrum. The only visual novels I tend to play are porn-based. I seldomly play 2d platformers, but they're fun too sometimes.

@PowerOfSin yes, lots of action. Other forms of entertainment are good too. If a game is too long, it has to have a good story to keep you playing to the end. If it's too short, it at least has to be either dynamic or highly replayable. Some games you play once and never touch them again.

@PowerOfSin they all have their own uniqueness to them, but I agree for the most part with most games being more or less the same. The plot is the only thing that really changes, but it's getting harder and harder to find anything original nowadays.
