@redwhitebluedude Much like Americans are supposed to look forward to no longer having the privilege of home ownership, they must also reckon that independent, efficient, and safe extended travel is out, as well.

@redwhitebluedude Yeah, but, then how could they virtue signal on social media while sitting for an hour and a half waiting for the car to charge after driving for an hour and a half. It's a long ride to Shakey Town.

@redwhitebluedude Much like Americans are supposed to look forward to no longer having the privilege of single family home and property ownership, they must also reckon that independent, efficient, and safe extended travel is out, as well.

@redwhitebluedude What they really need are guns. Can you imagine? A free Glock with every Tesla!

@redwhitebluedude EVs themselves are the drawback.

@redwhitebluedude Teslas don’t take an hour to charge at a supercharger. Around 20 minutes per stop, and superchargers are mostly for interstate travel. For local commuting, people charge EVs at their house, which is presumably safer that the risk of getting carjacked at a gas station. Other EVs are a lot slower charging, though, and do take hours.

@redwhitebluedude Other than for Teslas, due to their supercharger network, which is proprietary and inaccessible by other EVs, taking a long trip in an EV is a pain in the butt, due to short range and slow charging.

@redwhitebluedude Like nobody voiced this concern long before the first Tesla was built?
