       apparently the arch on this thinkpad is from 2016 or earlier. still working... desktop *buntu never lasted me this long

       @piggo Whoops! I had an old arch machine once and my upgrade failed spectacularly... I upgraded archlinux-keyring first. Then I went for pacman because it had issues with the keys of some packages and I couldn't figure it out.Big mistake as it broke pacman - forgot to update it's dependencies as well...

       @phel at one point i lost my whole /usr/bin and restored it using the live ISO loljust ran pacstrap for everything
