The cool thing about there being a media blackout about the Dutch Farmer Revolt is you can actually search YouTube for videos without there being hundreds of globohomo propaganda videos being shoved to the top of the feed as "authoritative information".

@Moon @dave YouTube will also give an infinity bonus to whitelisted mainstream media on search results. If there are no mainstream outlets covering something, they don't swamp the results.I had to built a text file full of independents covering the Freedom Convoy because if you did any search for Freedom Convoy you had to scroll down literally hundreds of videos to even begin to see anything that wasn't mainstream media. It was practically impossible.Doing a 24 hour filter on the searches can also be helpful because it cuts out a lot of mainstream media.

@Hyolobrika @JapanAnon you can easily find non-mainstream sources on the Dutch Farmers, that is purely a result of lack of coverage from mainstream media. During the Freedom Convoy this type of top search result was impossible. You would have to scroll past literally hundreds of videos to get some rando talking about it.

@JapanAnon @Hyolobrika I don't think they necessarily vet them for perfect globohomo alignment. I think it has a lot to do with being a cable news channel from legacy media. Like Sky News Australia gets the algo boost despite being basically Fox News. WION gets the boost too. Meanwhile actually small independents like Rebel News don't get the boost despite not being that much different in narrative than Sky News.It's as much as pandering to legacy media as it is to globohomo narrative. That's why stuff like the Jay Leno style shows (Colbert, etc) get pushed to the front page despite it being retarded.

Even stuff as benign as fake moon landing or flat earth. A cynical but probably true statement is that journos created a moral panic around YouTube and "conspiracy theories", then sold them on the idea of "well if you just boost _US_ you wont have a problem". Basically an extortion racket, create a problem, threaten them with government regulations unless they "self-regulate" by effectively paying you off with special treatment.
