@calebccff @postmarketOS Thats very exciting ! How deeply patched version is this ? Are we still far away from upstream ? I read that megous got a complete support for type-c on 5.18 right. I'm so excited now !

@bart @stacyharper hey!!! it's not that many patches, especially considering there's no non-upstreamable hacks here. that said, i expect we'll be carrying this awful downstream touchscreen driver for quite some time

@calebccff @bart Glad there isnt anymore things non-upstreamable. I'm far away from fully understand linux patches but I had a look at the previous MR on the pine64 linux repository. There was lot of api changes in things that looks like core functions o_O

@stacyharper @bart yeahhh Megi seems to come up with a lot of stuff like that. Thankfully for the PinePhone Pro things are a bit better, we have more folks steering things in the right direction
