Got an incredibly painful toothache at around midnight last night and it persisted until I was able to buy orajel at 8am. Relief at last. Also got an emergency dentist appointment at noon today. I think a filling came out? The orajel numbing has worn off but it seems to have switched off the pain if that makes sense? Hopefully that's a sign that it's nothing too bad (Or expensive that my insurance won't cover). Unfortunately I have to call off work today and I didn't get a wink of sleep either

@thedonnerd I'm on my way to pick up antibiotics right now for the infection which they say will help with the pain a lot. Then I'm going to call an oral surgeon to get it removed!

@mushroom_soup @thedonnerd I had to get a cracked tooth yanked last year, started the process in early May, I didn't get it yanked until mid July because all of the oral surgeons were booked heavily. Be forceful about getting proper pain meds and in enough quantity to deal with a potentially long booking period. They refused to give me pain meds and I was forced to take 4-6 full sized acetaminophen to wrestle the pain into a tolerable state where pacing back and forth all night was the only thing I could do mentally.

@mushroom_soup @iamtakingiteasy Oh God that is never good. Knew someone who got dry socket after the tooth was removed and it devolved into an infection which was of the flesh eating kind. Half of the guys jaw is now titanium. Wisdom teeth is the worst name should just call them bastard teeth.
