       @BanditHeeler oh one of the juicier things is the rumors of companies buying complete products just to strip chips out of them for use in their own (much more expensive) products because they can't get the chips they need

       @deprecated_ii I think that is definitely happening, what I'm more worried about is specifically the cannibalization of parts from rural or suburban areas specifically to keep the urban areas placated. At some point they're going to be cutting off limbs to save the host (this is true of broader issues, not just electric service, but this will be the most visible aspect)
