       @blacklight@social.platypush.tech @tante@mastodon.social Legally speaking you don't even purchase a JPEG, you purchase the right to consider a certain place in a blockchain yours. The JPEG is a representation of that certain place in the blockchain, but is completely arbitrary.It is important to keep in mind that NFTs are a scam through and through, without any value in any way, shape, or form, and anyone considering it should stop doing that and instead do literally anything else.
