@SirSidereal I like the idea of album parodies. I think you should continue to do so. The difficult part is to find a good link with a discussed topic. Either by the album title or album image. And I think the album needs to be extremely well known which is a challenge in itself since (my movie poster parody of) the sixth sense was too much of a throwback for them. 😂I will keep in mind that album parodies are your thing. @Tante_Neel @SirSidereal Yeah this is the other one I did for the 'Wind of Woke' when the subject of the the Scorpions singing in NYC came up & the P**_y hat of the Ukraine rapper in Eurovison. 🤟 I thought it was a bit too much infringement of the Scorpions original logo but a tribute to the EPIC 'Lovedrive' LP that most people would not get.. result = 'Not Submitted Folder'

That is 1 thing I have been working on too.. coming up with funny, clever ideas when comes to show topics. The Duran Duran reference can be hit or miss. (I love it) I think U are on the right track with the nostalgic look of the Nagel concept. Here is a generic, "Not Submitted" existential Climate Change piece. Clip art manipulation, AOC head incorporated onto the Spirit Woman, pedaling out the "FEAR". Earth as the Crystal Ball. @nessworks I think it looks slick at first glance. Well done and pretty colors.But (imo) the picture and the words 'climate insanity' don't match yet. I think maybe the globe is too clean to link it to climate change, when you only see the picture. Without the words I would think the picture says AOC is predicting something for the world, but I can't make out what exactly. It's hard to explain in writing.

@nessworks yes burning globe or half of the land flooded or burning from the heat.On the other hand it's (now) probably a bit too small to see that clearly. (I also had a good friend in Taiwan during that period, i was concerned) I APPRECIATE this post. 🙏 It is a great example of the process of having an idea, trying to convey it artistically, & then executing. @Tante_Neel Here is "Not Submitted" conception piece I did. "Jumpin' Back Whoopi" I can't totally recall the subject matter, must of been the View going back or reversing subject matter. @Tante_Neel Yeah I think it was about her flipping their original take, narrative. You know how John does those epic Hypocrite features. 1 thing I was thinking too.. I would be interested to hear Adam's & John's opinion of the Non Submitted folder. Some of these pieces, we consider "Lost Value" may still have "Evergreen" value. I was pleasantly surprised with a news letter selection today with my "General Trudeau" piece > "Canada Day" approaching on July 1. Never hurts to post in Evergreen.

I had made it because Sweden (and finland) joining nato was in the news/a topic from the moment the war began but it wasn't discussed on the show back then. So I had never uploaded it.I had a lot of ideas for the lower square , I thought the swedish meatballs and ABBA where the best known internationally as being Swedish.

@nessworks it was memorable! It was Friday 5 pm that my dad came home early from work and asked me if I wanted to go with him to Berlin. We threw some stuff in the car and went. At the 1st reststop in Germany dad found a guy who sold tickets. Then we drove for hrs. We where in a traffic jam from Hamburg all the way to Berlin. It takes 7 hrs normally. It took us 10! Slept in the car on the parking lot of a former east Berlin government building and attended the show on Saturday. @SirSidereal

In the 90's, I saw Diana Ross, T. Turner, SADE & Steely Dan at this venue. Later in 2009, I saw Coldplay there. When I arrived I was sitting on the lawn (Red Arrow) I saw there was platform, small riser set up in front of me (Didn't think too much about it) during the performance.. (cont. in next post)

@Tante_Neel @SirSidereal .. in the middle of the show, the lights went dark, like an intermission? I saw some rumbling in front of me. The band was making their way towards the riser. All of sudden a low level spotlight was on them! They performed an acoustic version of "Billie Jean", a tribute to Michael J. as he had just passed a couple weeks prior. I was about 20-30 feet away! @SirSidereal I think dad thought he would regret not trying. Now it's all online but back then at concerts there would always be people walking around the venue to sell their tickets. He was lucky to run into someone right across the border. He would have payed more for tickets the closer we got to Berlin. In the traffic jam there were people walking past the other cars trying to sell tickets and also around the concert grounds. @nessworks

I was sitting higher up on the grass, up above & to the right, There were a group of hippies, flower children dancing off to the side, security was cool with it & let them dance through out the show! 🕺 💃 My friend Terry & I shot vodka into a watermelon & we spiked Sunny D. with Rum. @Tante_Neel I think this piece was right around the Canadian Trucker events & I switch gears to that Bill & Ted piece that got featured in the newsletter. 🙏 I can remember it being the cold season.. & listening to a podcast I was messing around with it. Yeah! I should of recycled it & added some New Jersey sludge! That's Tante_Neel wisdom. It hit me after the show that I had that in the NS folder. 🥴
