@debian technical decision process these days (even for metapackages previously fixed...) :"Added tag(s) wontfix. Request was from [some systemd DD]"a 6year old bug report, fixed with nmu back in 2018, was overturned, tagged wontfix + archived, without any explanation, a few days ago.. i know it's common these days, but everytime i'm "wtf?".... ---#debian should really change Social Contract, it still states : "We will support the needs of our users for operation in many different kinds of computing environments. "this is an obvious lie anyone would expect from some evil corp, not @Debian. so (at least) keep open and tell the truth...

@getimiskon oh well : #838480.you can also see my mastodon history, there are more of such bugs (wontfix, attitude) mentioned in older posts (iirc)..

@xinomilo I was asking about what software was that bug report about. I noticed the "systemd" in the post, but I decided not to talk about it, unless I'm 100% sure it's something regarding that software.
