Here at democracy.town, we encourage everyone to vote.Voting is your chance to stand up for the issues you care about like public transportation, raising the minimum wage, or funding local schools. This is your life: take the time to help decide what’s best.Increasing the number of people that vote in each election means better representation, more funding to our communities, and a better quality of life. Our community members who are unable to vote also count on the rest of us.There is power In numbers if we work together as a community and increase voter turnout. Education, healthcare, immigration, infrastructure, the economy, etc., are all affected by our vote on the local level, the state level, and the national. Please join us as we share some of our favorite ways to make sure we're registered to vote, up-do-date on issues, and know where and how to vote. :vote:

@TonyStark Here's one I haven't brought up in too long.Did you know that according to the US States Department, there are approx 9 Million US citizens living abroad? Vote From Abroad helps them make sure they're registered, and how to request mail in ballots.Just because someone is living/working/or serving abroad, doesn't mean their vote and their voice can't be heard.#Vote :vote:https://www.votefromabroad.org/

Have questions about voter registration deadlines, requesting absentee or mail-in ballots, or how to vote in-person during early voting or on Election Day? Call or text 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683) to speak with a trained Election Protection volunteer. More information about voting in your state can be found below-https://866ourvote.org/

@TonyStark SCOTUS may try to make voting harder, and Republicans in Congress may not want you to vote, but the executive branch is currently run by Democrats. Democrats want people to vote! Federal government websites even tell you at the top that they are, with a link so you can determine that the site isn't fraudulent. vote.gov lets you check deadlines in your date, ID requirements as they vary (usually depending on what Republicans got away with -- and if you have Democrats on the courts in your state, they made sure you can vote easily), and can help you get registered if you're not already. :vote: :ivoted:https://vote.gov/
