The shuffle option on Apple Music is shockingly shit. I have thousands of songs in my library, yet the same ones keep popping up over and over.I’m seriously considering going back to Spotify because of it…

@kev I recall at some point they were "making it less random so it feels more random". But that was on iPods

@kev Oh for the freedom just to buy music and download it to my device. Streaming is over-rated IMO.

@kev That's statistically unlikely unless their randomness isn't.So, knowing Apple, it probably isn't.I have thousands upon thousands of songs locally, and e.g. audio/zuke -s shuffles the whole thing basically instantly (from my perspective as a human) on my Thinkpad. `mpv --shuffle` does the same when I have to be on Linux for some reason (read: work).Metro, from F-Droid, does the same on Android.I've never seen that problem with _any_ music player, from Plan 9 to Android. Apple sucks.
