       Been doing the terraria grind with @shitney but not @roryaroth since hes sad.It's realistically our first play through, but we getting some help from some friends. What are some cool things to build before we hardmode it up

       @lunarisedTheres a huge checklist for an ideal hardmode, but some key items:If you dont already have one, a hellevator is a must.a big platform in space is a nice thing to have, can get you wings much earlierAnd if theres anything ive learned on my thousands of hours... you never have enough storage

       @lunarisedAntlions are good, if you can find and set up a spider cave for farming you can get some really decent summoner gear also

       @lunarised the spider armour is basically the next step up, and the spider staff is a really good early hardmode weaponbase dps is highest of the pre planterra summons and they only count for .75 of a summon slot

       @lunarised for magic, shadowflame hexdoll is a personal fav, tho killing the upgraded goblin army can be a pain(important note on the spider staff: because of i-frames 3 spiders on a target is the max dps, so bewitching table to fit in a diff summon is the way to go)
