That aside, I don't think we can role out the social effects of the last two+ years as a cause for this. Disruption of routines amid a time where young people already don't have sex or real relationships at a healthy level. People not feeling "safe" to have kids, or having more stress in their life affecting fertility. Perhaps something as simple as all those extra cleaners around and perpetual disinfectant residue has contributed to it. I feel like there's a baby boom near me, although where I live is likely not heavily vaccinated.

It doesn't look like any systemic factors were really having an impact until this year. There might be other stuff but I think you have to chalk that up to the vaccine.

But we also need to look at things that balance things the other way as well. Additionally - because this includes data from 2020 and 2019 it would have to be cultural effects that weren't at play at the beginning of pandemic.

@sickburnbro @teknomunk To add to that, the average age in the US is nearing 40, which is kinda crazy considering the 60 million or so people we’ve imported from brown countries with high birth rates.While I do think the regime doesn’t want people having large families, they still need sufficient numbers of tax farms and consoomers. That model can’t work in a nation full of childless 50 somethings
