@PapaPol She knows only love, not friendship. Deep. We assume it's all about caring about love, and assume friendship is entailed by that, but I guess love is ultimately just sexual impulses. Not sure what he is saying at the end "as much as ye give to your friend, will I give even to my foe, and will not have become poorer thereby." Any translation? Why is he giving to his foe? To show that he isn't getting into friendships just to drain people? Do you need to help foes to show that?

@PapaPol When women have the choice to be anything they want, whether male or female dominated, what do they choose? I mean if enough money is thrown at a male-dominated industry for women to get hired, sure, they are fine with soft welfare, too.

@PapaPol Jesus, I think they outdid TFM on this one. The explosion of logic is too much for most to bear. About women not caring. I wonder about it. I am not sure women were really crying for voting rights but once they get it they hate the thought of something being taken away from them. They sort of convinced themselves that power is great once they got it, even when before it wasn't relevant to their lifestyle.Modern women are power hungry and artificially project that onto 1920s women.

@PapaPol If women today were transported to the early 1900s they would hate it, but what does that have to do with the struggles of an early 1900s woman? In fact such a woman would probably emphasize much more the difficulties of everyday life, that both men and women had just due to less technology.If early 1900s women had the psychology of modern women they would probably commit suicide or something and we wouldn't exist to complain. We invented unique criteria for problems after the fact.

@PapaPol What is he supposed to do, take care of a single mom? The ultimate irony is that the opposite of a loser, Chad, doesn't even do that, so maybe it's not such a good benchmark. Even though it's probably the lower tier women like that that call him a loser. But yeah, shame and flattery are the only tools for such women.
