I ditched windows years ago. Linux mint works pretty well, it has it's bugs but on average I've found it more stable.

AAA titles tend to sign exclusivity agreements so they're a pain. All the indie shit on steam mostly runs ok, depends on the game.I have more games than I'm ever likely to play so even if one doesn't work I just move on and try another one.

Also there's all the usual emulators with more games than I can ever finish.

@Eiregoat @rimugu @MeBigbrain @grey I'm currently playing mainly old games now. I have Win7 burned onto a disk for another machine I use to play old games (some can be really finicky on newer OS). Torrenting, emulation and shareware are a godsend for old games. A lot of old games have a modding community thats really cool too, if they're dead communities there's usually an old forum/archive buried somewhere you could rip the mods you want from. There's also old ROM hacks for stuff that are good too :comfy: I've been playing pirated stellaris for a while with no end in sight rn :comfy:

@rimugu The day a MacOS "upgrade" suddenly eliminated my ability to run 32 bit applications was the day I decided never to buy another Apple device.
