       I appreciate that Libreoffice Draw lets me set the base unit to kilometers, in case I want to make a really large drawing

       (granted, yes, you can also set the scale, so you could use Libreoffice Draw to make a map, but that sounds like it would be pain)

       @Dee@fedi.underscore.world i wonder what the reason for this is there has to be some weird application hereat first i assumed maps but i realized that 1 cm = 1 km is like built into most maps so it's doubtful that they wouldn't just map for the paper size and not the actual land size
