@stux I live in Guatemala :blobcatnotlikethis: , and that's our reality.. well kinda , those parts are where the rich people and companies trough away their wastes, ahhhhh and please don't forget that it's totally legal to do that cuz, you know who cares about others life's. We have a lot of laws against pollution and even we have laws to treat the water but, our government is so corrupted that you have just two options just live the way they want us to live or just leave the country. The meaning of Guatemala is ciudad de muchos árboles ( a City with lots of trees) I don't see any trees nearby , I'm blessed to live outside the city ( google Antigua Guatemala you will love it) I live near that city we still have plenty of trees, and safe water , we have a great community who doesn't care about the government only about the people. And there are tons of communities that are the same. I just hope that one day we can rescue our lakes and our nature is sad to see our country so damaged. :(
