I went through a machine similar to this today, although there are no what I presume were x-ray plates that scarily moved extremely close to my body in this picture. I was not too fond of the drug and the radioactive material they pumped into me. It made me feel like crap.#DickyTicker

@penguin42 Dunno, but I felt like a sacrificial pig with my arms crossed above my head.The morning session was the worst. It's clearly a bit dangerous as three people have to monitor you. One on the blood pressure pump and ECG. One on drug administration and one watching and talking to you. I have to say I wanted to shout "STFU, mate, I think I'm slipping away here!"Of course, there's nothing scary, with signs everywhere; "Do not put radioactive material here!" ⚛️ ☢️

@lukas Sadly, I doubt it will; the damage is done. However, I have no intention of dropping dead just yet. There are far too many people I need to keep unhappy by continuing to live. 🤣 🤣 🤣 😉

@dick_turpin Probably Iodine-based. It leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. I've had a few IVU/IVP X-Rays and I know what you mean.

@silkevicious Well they said that if they had any concerns I would have to go back in two weeks however before I left they said there was no need so I take that as a positive.My ticker has calcification and two of the arteries are furred up so the damage is done by all accounts. 🤷♂️
