I've been watching it for a second time now after a big time in between but still the most interesting part for me is how society got wiped out in the first place cause of Allie 1.0 AIBut.. what I don't get is this: Where is the nuclear winter that would come after? They've been in space for 97-98 years but no mention of this anywhere right? As far as I know the woman who fucked it up in the first place went down quite soon after the nuclear apocalypse as 'the commander' but where the f is winter?I mean so many bombs and fire should cause that for sure!Also, at some point many nuclear plants are burning but why only ~100 years after the fact?

@stux@mstdn.social Yeah ... the logic and plot was a little .... odd but this is what happens when you attempt to "adapt for screen" from novels with a finite timeline.

@stux I never finished watching the series. I think I stopped shortly after they killed off Lincoln. I loved the premise, but it seemed to take a weird turn for me. I can’t recall why. Maybe I should try watching again.

@ramsey i had the same! :blobcatgiggle: Try and rewatch! It's getting more interesting and it's hard to get over certain aspects i know :blobcatgiggle: but later on it's more tech-ish
