@screenbeard @Gina @mike oh man... I gave up coffee a month ago. For a few reasons, but I miss it. I miss it sooo much. 😢 #NoCoffee I wanted my uh digestive system to be less at the whim of when I had a coffee, and had headaches and slept badly. I'm sure there are other factors but has helped a lot. But now I'm tired all the time, turns out I need maybe 8 hours of sleep, not 6 and coffee.

@Gina @screenbeard @mike yes. I feel way more level and confident, I used to be an anxious wreck. I'm still working through the tension in my back and neck that I always carry, but I think I was masking that and anxiousness with caffeine? Dunno. I do feel a lot better in that regard, but it took a couple of weeks to get through the headaches that painkillers couldn't even deal with.

@swansinflight @Gina @screenbeard @mike The unfortunate fact is that caffeine addiction is still an addiction, which is unfortunately hyped up as normal behavior by a huge swath of society.I am lucky that my stomach is just too weak for coffee, so I got my caffeine addiction experience with black tea, which I could luckily get rid of relatively easily during university in about a week. #NoCoffee #NoCaffeine

@nicemicro @swansinflight @Gina @screenbeard @mike Yeah, coffee can have a bunch of negative side-effects. But is not all bad either. On the whole a mixed bag. There are various positive effects attributed to coffee (or caffeine). @Gina have you considered doing a work-out instead? A bit of 'beste stuurlui staan aan wal' ("those who can, do, those who can't, teach"?) perhaps, as I suck at taking my own advice when it comes to energy and spoon management, but I do recall that when I actually went to a gym, it would give me energy.
