       Men are thinking the Johnny Depp verdict protects them from false accusations.Actually, it is also more likely that divorces will sue for abuse more, instead of simply wanting out, because women won't want to risk getting Amber Hearded. They will want judgments as insurance.

       You're delusional if you think it will stop women from speaking up. To the extent it harms victims, yes, but fierce voices will continue unchanged and take new precautions that will harm men.This judgment harms everyone.

       3. May alter how domestic abuse victims are advised - not sure how, but very likely going to hospital and creating an official record of injuries is likely.4. May reduce amicable divorces overall. It is one thing to simply want out, but if it can gag you for life, likely not.

       5. Reporting of domestic abuse is likely to shift to a witness perspective rather than victim statements/claims/interviews. "I saw X hit Y" rather than "he hit me".6. Reporting of criminal behaviour by rich/powerful people will be further discouraged, even with facts in hand.
