       @stux I love talking about cat behavior, so here goes. Don't physically move around an upset cat. They will attack whatever moves unless it's backing away slowly. If a cat bites, pulling away makes it worse. Get them to release by gently pushing towards the inside of their mouths. Use something as a shield to get away, like a piece of cardboard box to hide your legs walking away.  A loud, strange noise (not your voice) will scare them off (like banging pots & pans

       @stux Washy is still quite big. To us he's like a giant. But we prefer cats to nosy doggies who enter our tunnels.They are really frightful.
