       It seems like every second article I read on the major news sites has the suicide hotline details at the bottom. I'm sure they'd claim they're trying to help but I can't help but think they're trying to out the idea in peoples' minds.

       @martianvenator I think there's two parts to it. On one hand they're doing as you say and putting the idea in people's heads to associate all of this death and misery with mental illness rather than their actions.On the other they want to look like they care so as to not be held accountable.Like an employer giving you the companies therapist hotline after you didn't respond enthusiastically to being told you can no longer do the job you've been doing for years because you don't want emergency science juice.

       @Crux_Invictus @martianvenator To add to all of both Martian's and your good points, the world, when scrambling for solutions to spiritual ills especially when genuine in concern, can only point to previously established, credible-by-facade institutions and psychology, with dubious results. They don't want to bow and beg to the Lord of all spirits to help them in their despair. It would kill their ambitions to be a god and force them to acknowledge the One that they hate.t. Was training to become a Biblically based counselor who himself was saved by God and His sweet grace from very, very deep and despairing darkness with its suicidal desires.

They waste their lives trying to chase a feeling of happiness and then they're depressed because their lives are a waste.
