Mullvad's account page now doesn't display in Pale Moon: https://mullvad.net/en/account/They probably only test their pages in Chrome, fuck them. Another privacy giant bites the dust.

@nethaniah Mullvad was my go-to VPN for their privacy and good features (wireguard support, crypto or cash acceptance, etc). I don't think anything else compares and I recommend a full darknet setup now https://digdeeper.neocities.org/ghost/ninja.html#darknet

@digdeeper @nethaniah I recommend setting up one or a few VPS servers, connect to those via a SOCKS5 proxy, and configure every application to go through that connection.ssh -D (any 4 digit port number you want, make sure it's free) -q -C -N -f (user)@(hostname)And then under your network settings:Type: SOCKS5Host: 127.0.0.1Port: (whatever the 4 digit port number is that you've just set up)Username and password should be left blank.

@digdeeper I wondered the same as I just made the switch from windows to Linux and have fully changed to Pale Moon+tor, or was hoping to, and while waiting for the cash delivery to arive Ive been logging in every day to check iand noticed today that I cant log into via Pale Moon ;( I sent them a mail and got a fast reply: HelloPale moon is not supported, Pale Moon is based on very outdated and old Firefox code.We don't have any plans on adding support for such old software.

@digdeeper I am not xp enough to set up this dark protocol stuff u mention and as a 'normal' but highly rebelious activist rely on a vpn to 'feel secure'. I used NordVPN b4 but want to switch and try Mullvad because I def dont trust Nordvpn anymore.And I dont know how much u can trust sites like Prism Break(?), i see some dubious things listed sometimes that i personally dont trust, but they list Mullvad. Does this mean Mullvad cant be trusted either now, and have fallen to the dark side? ;(

@stupidlamb They almost certainly still don't log, and have all the features etc. But because of not supporting Pale Moon, and also working with Mozilla earlier, they showed they really don't care about their users. I wouldn't use them anymore. Their decline was the entire reason I switched to a fully darknet setup. But you can try IVPN.Prism Break is okay from what I've seen.

@digdeeper Ty i will look into ivpn. I never trust anyone in the first place anymore, the whole cash thing is a sandtrap and a way to locate us that are willing to go that xtra length, and to keep a closer eye on us, that would be the most logical conclusion in our times right now. Control the opposition blabla. I never trusted proton or tutanota either and look where they are now and how many use them lol, I do too because there are no safe alternatives and i need somewhere to verify and bkup:l

@digdeeper I read ur email guide and the rest on ur site, they are my bible ty! In no amount of searches for ur kind of site did i find it, only through some random lone wolf comment, not even mastodon even came up in any related searches:s Im so happy I found it! I use mailfence.They need a bkup mail, so i use proton there, im fucked lol. What mail would u recommend atm for these things, so I dont link it all in the trap? Riseup is not posible in my country, disroot declined me, no payed ones:)

@stupidlamb It seems I'm the big villain today, and sites like reddit or hacker news delete me on sight, even some adblock filters block me as a "misinformation site" lol.Try danwin or elude. But riseup is the best.

@digdeeper its duckduck etc as well, they just dont list places like these anymore, its the same mainstream results every time.Ive never heard of danwin, its not listed in my bible so thats prob why :P Elude, ill make an account there also, for some reason I thought this one was payed also, maybe it was once or I was too fast and misread the payed thing u wrote about it, ty :)

@digdeeper Riseup is not posible in my country, ive tried over a year, no one has heard of it or have access to it.And im an activist, I have asked almost everyone i know in this, including leaders of our political resistance, ppl on the street when we march, no one has a code, account or even heard of it. Ive also tried messaging them for a code or how to get one, its just not posible in some countries and that makes it a bit meh now tbh.Riseup is on my personal suspect list tho so im wary:)

@digdeeper Ty for the mail recomendations, ive now made one on elude and a few on danwin. Elude is hella hard to get into from tor for me tho, but danwin works great, its simple, does it what it needs to do, love that one so far. Im curious, why didnt u add danwin in the email guide? I noticed an update on proton, but didnt spot any danwin so far. It saddens me because in no searched past or present does danwin come up as a client+ not on ur list, so i had no clue about it + others wont either:)

@stupidlamb You need to burn all your old accounts after switching to a VPN. Otherwise they will be able to connect your activity. Especially something like Reddit will 100% do just that.

@digdeeper @stupidlamb Or practice very strict segmentation. Like these accounts “X” “Y” and “Z” only ever see activity when on plain connection. These accounts “A” “B” and “C” only ever get touched when on VPN.

@digdeeper O.o damn ok, sure feels like it >< I am trying to do that, is it too late now after ive alr got ivpn? Also its really hard to change everything, because most places wont accept danwin and elude etc, and its impos to make a middleman mail because they also block these domains! And today i got my trustpilot closed, funnily enough just as I asked them to change my mail to my danwin one! Claiming I was spamming. FFS I hate censure so much! :( That TP account is like 10 yrs old :(

@wrongthink @digdeeper T:) I plan to do just that but its proving SO hard to make new fresh accounts because they all demand this or that, no vpn on, no tor, must give mail that is part of the eye which in turn dont accept new accounts unless u can also verify with a monitored mail doman etc. I just hardly use my computer anymore cause i feel to tracked(i know i am, in real life too, u dont get to piss off the royals and governtment and nazies sitting there without bklash:)

@stupidlamb @digdeeper Once you get into the habit of keeping tabs on things it really isn’t bad. To be fair, I don’t make accounts on any of the big soycial media junk so I don’t content with jumping through hoops verifying accounts or phone numbers or anything like that.

@stupidlamb For normal people I recommend the VPN setup for sure (then you can add TOR to that for specific situations). There are simply too many issues with a purely darknet setup (which I use, so I'd know). The only reason I gave up my VPN is because I couldn't pay for it (Mullvad), as they decided to stop supporting Pale Moon.

@digdeeper There is something going on with danwin mail, i think the onion site isnt gd for this domain, i cant log into it at all after writing an important mail and waiting for important reply bk sometime today (surprise). Often this happens when u xpect reply that matters in some way, then the service is always down, i hate it! also on other mails. But on danwin, it loads the site for half a sec, then it instantly goes to unable to connec blabla. With/without vpn using tor. Pale moon it works

@digdeeper Do u know what is going on with all the onion sites not loading these days? Like with danwin its been working fine then its like as soon as they catch on to u changing ur mail to that domain, ur unable to access it. I also lost and got my 10yr old trustpilot account the day i changed my mail to my new danwin one there, im 100% sure this is tied to the the surveilance net and making sure we are who we are behind no shields. But why tor has such problems with the .onion , do u know? :s

@digdeeper btw about mullvad, i shipped cash for about 3 months to them, almost 2 months ago, still didnt arive, so dont count on that if u send it and dont send much at once! I think many mailmen will cashgrab them once they catch on to the receiver and with no return adress too, its too risky now :o
