       minecraft needs better graphics imo. like the boxes were used because notch sucked at game dev in 2012, not bc of some artistic goal

       @piggo@piggo.space i think the blockiness is part of what makes it good. games like minecraft are an escape. you build and explore fantasy worlds, and the abstract style actually makes those more believable and fun by leaving details to imagination.and from a more technical pov, it makes it much easier to add your own mods to it without being a good 3D artist.don’t forget whom this game is for.
